How secure is my personal information when I order from you?
J Devitt Designs uses the same highest level of encryption as do banks and other financial institutions. This security consists of a security layer called Secure Socket Layer and is provided by Trustwave. You know you are using a Secure Socket Layer when you see "https://" in the address bar (rather than "http://"). 

J Devitt Designs has been issued a 256-bit SSL certificate for their website, www.jdevittdesigns.com, by Trustwave. This SSL Certificate can be used to provide up to 256-bit encryption between your web browser and the web server so that sensitive information, such as your personal contact information or credit card information, can be transmitted over the Internet safely. If you have any questions or concerns about Internet Security, please feel free to contact Trustwave directly.

Trustwave's SSL Certificates will provide the maximum encryption available up to 256-bit with AES-256 capable software, such as Mozilla Firefox, and are 100% backward compatible for web servers or web browsers that are only capable of 128-bit or 40-bit encryption.

In addition, J Devitt Designs uses only experienced programmers who are skilled and knowledgeable on the subject of Internet security. The programs running this website are pro-active in that they are designed to eliminate entry and sabotage by hackers; to foil HTTP, password, and SQL attacks; and to validate the credentials and input from every user visiting or attempting to access this site.

What kind of payments do you accept?
J Devitt Designs accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashier's checks, traveler's checks, personal checks, money orders, and J Devitt Designs' gift certificates. All payments must be in U.S. dollars and all paper (checks and money orders) must be drawn on U.S. banks.

Do I have to have an account with you to purchase from you?
Setting up and using an account with J Devitt Designs will make your checkout faster because logging in retrieves your latest shipping and billing information and places that information in the appropriate fields. However, it is not necessary to have an account with J Devitt Designs in order to purchase from us. You only need to click on the Continue button on the Register/Login page to skip logging in or creating an account.

How quickly do you ship orders?
The staff at J Devitt Designs works very hard to pack and ship orders no later than the day following payment. Although there may be special circumstances that prevent this, it is our goal to get orders to customers as quickly as possible.

What if I need a special order?
The buyers at J Devitt Designs are constantly searching for new vendors with new products to offer to our customers. If you have an interest in something new, different, or hard-to-find, just let us know by sending an email from our Contact Us page or from the Member Control Panel. Your inquiry is not a commitment to purchase that item from us. We just really want to know about those items for which our customers are interested.

Can I submit an order in some manner other than over the Internet?
Absolutely! If you prefer, you can choose the Fax or Mail option from the Payment Options page. When you do this, you will be taken to a printable form of your order with instructions on how to fax or mail that form with your payment.

What is your policy on returns?
You may return any item purchased from J Devitt Designs, for any reason, within 90 days of the purchase as long as it is returned in the same condition in which you received it. We will refund the purchase price of the product, exchange the returned item for another item of the same price, or give you a store credit - it's your choice. Any refund issued will be done in the same method as the original payment (i.e., if payment for the product was by check, the refund will be by check, etc.). There is no need to ask us in advance or obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Just send the item with a note that contains your name, mailing address, order number, instructions as to a refund, exchange, or store credit, and your email address - we'll take it from there. We'll verify the sale and the purchase price and facilitate the return quickly.

What happens if something I order is out of stock?
The choice is yours. When you place an order, please indicate whether you would like us to backorder out of stock items.

What do I do if I can't remember my username or password?
Simply click on the My Account link at the top of web page, type in the email address we have on file for you, and click on the Send me my password link.

Can I save my shopping cart to finish shopping another day?
If you close your browser and then visit J Devitt Designs at a later time from the same computer, we will recognize your cart number which is stored in a cookie.

How can I update my username, password, shipping address, or billing address?
To change your personal information, including username, password, shipping address, or billing address, just click on the My Account link at the top of the web page. Once you log in, you can change any or all of your information. You can also change your shipping address and billing address at the time of checkout. When you log in to check out, your shipping and billing addresses populate the appropriate fields on the Address page of the checkout. Any changes you make to these addresses are automatically saved.

How can I contact you by email when I can't see your email address?
When a website owner publishes an email address to a web page, it is often harvested by spiders and robots which are roaming around the internet looking for these email addresses. Once an email address gets on a marketer's list, it is open to a diluge of spam. Often, these email addresses have to be changed. We want to keep our email addresses safe from these kinds of spam attacks so we don't have to keep changing them. If you would like to send us an email, just go to the Contact Us page, fill in a few blank text boxes, and click send. We try to respond to all emails within 24 hours. You can also send an email from the Member Control Panel by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the web page and selecting Contact J Devitt Designs.

Is it possible to view and/or print past orders? What if I can't remember the order number?
Yes, if you are a member of J Devitt Designs, you can view and/or print any of your past orders (as long as the purchase was made under your registered username). There's no need to remember your order numbers. When you log into the Member Control Panel by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the web page, the application will look to see which orders belong to you. Simply select one of these orders from the drop-down box on the View Your Orders page, and the order will display on the page. You can see the date you placed the order, what was in your shopping cart, how much each item cost, where the order was shipped, and much more. We hope you will find this a convenient way to keep track of all of your purchases from J Devitt Designs.

How will I be able to view and/or print my past orders if I change my username?
J Devitt Designs' keeps track of the orders which belong to you. If you change your username, J Devitt Designs will associate your orders with your new username.
